How We Help

Brighten the Holidays

The Salvation Army Greater Birmingham Area Command brings Christmas wish lists to life through our Christmas programs.  Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

WBRC Fox 6 Gifts for Kids
Salvation Army Angel Tree

WBRC Fox 6 News is proud to once again partner with the Salvation Army for our annual “Gifts for Kids Angel Tree” program.

The “Gifts for Kids Angel Tree” program is a way for people to donate Christmas gifts to foster children and children in need during the holiday season. You can purchase gifts or make a financial donation to The Salvation Army Greater Birmingham Area Command. Your donation will be used to buy clothing, toys, and gifts for children participating in the Angel Tree program.

How to Help

There are several ways you can help:

  • In-person: Adopt an Angel from the Angel Tree at The Outlet Shops of Grand River or The Riverchase Galleria November 9 through December 5, 2023.
  • Online: Adopt Angels online by clicking here.  Online adoptions will begin November 9.  For more information, contact Regina Williams at [email protected] .
  • Forgotten Angels: Drop-off new, unwrapped toys or gifts at any participating area Chick-fil-A locations, November 24 – December 12, 2023.
  • Walmart Registry: Shop Walmart.com/RegistryForGood to purchase gifts online for Angels. Look for ‘Birmingham Salvation Army Angel Tree Registry,” and purchase the “Wish List” gifts for a child for Christmas.
